WTF do you call this tactical move?

Popping through some channels the other day, I paused for a moment on Borderwars, and something caused me to do a double take. Jumped back and sure as shit, no sights on this guy's rifle:



So, whadda think, Doodies? Is this for real, or just a poorly reenacted scene? The way this "reality" show is produced, you're supposed to think a camera crew is actually along for the real stuff.

Having sights on a gun are nothing but a crutch and just a distraction while engaging an enemy.

They increase wind resistance while making uber tactical movements to a mere mortals speed.

The Border Wars production crew spends a huge amount of time out with those agents and nothing from the two seasons they did at my station was ever re-enacted. However, not everything is released (heh), alot of it is watered down, and at the same time sensationalized. It's a TV show after all.

My guess (having not seen that episode) is that they got there after the fact, and this guy really is that dumb.
